Benefits of Membership
The Coastal Bend Women Lawyers Association was formed as an
unincorporated association of lawyers in the Corpus Christi, Texas area in
1988.  The purpose was to provide a forum for socializing and networking of
women lawyers in the Coastal Bend region.  It has operated since then as a
nonprofit organization offering continuing legal education, charitable work,
and social opportunities to its members.  In 2005, CBWLA accepted
recognition as a "local bar association" from the State Bar of Texas.
Membership is open to all licensed attorneys in Corpus Christi, Texas and
surrounding areas without regard to gender.  To join, fill out
the 2011
Membership
Application and return it with your check for annual dues of
$35.00 to the address listed on the Application.  Annual dues apply to the
fiscal year starting July 1 and ending June 30.
Reduced price for monthly luncheons and other events.
Continuing Legal Education at monthly luncheons and sponsored
seminars.
Involvement in social and charitable issues important to our membership.
Opportunities to socialize with lawyers and judges in different settings.
